My Story? Threads, Sweat, and a Whole Lotta Obsession.
I stitched my first shirt as a teenager under the guidance of a neighborhood master tailor in Madhu Vihar, Delhi.
Not in a lab, not on a Mac—in a dusty corner with fabric scraps and raw tools. That’s where I fell in love with the precision of stitches and the poetry of fit.
Later, I went on to complete my Master of Design from IIT Delhi, worked in UX, Interaction Design, and Product Strategy, and taught design at top universities.
But while I taught systems and solved design problems in tech… my soul stayed in the workshop—drafting patterns, testing fabrics, tweaking cuts at midnight.
So I built Black Seam—my return to craftsmanship, but on my own terms.
